Microsuction
Our most popular method of ear wax removal is microsuction. Your audiologist will use a microscope so that they can see exactly what they are doing during the procedure. They will use a medical suction device to carefully remove the wax. This technique is much safer than syringing. The appointment takes around 30 minutes.
In the appointment we will:
Take a brief history
Take an image of your ear canal before
Remove the ear wax
Take an image after the wax is removed
We also do a video examination which enables you to see the before and after!

Using various dry removal tools ear wax can carefully be removed.
This is most successful for small amounts of earwax.
